- Abstract
The article focuses on the developments in employee benefits law from fall 2013 through fall 2014 in the U.S. It mentions the two U.S. Supreme Court cases including Fifth Third Bancorp v. Dudenhoeffer related to the fiduciaries of employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), and the Heimeshoff v. Hartford Life & Accident Insurance Co. regarding the denial of the long-term disability benefits by insurer. It also mentions a Eighth Circuit court case Tussey v. ABB, Inc. related to 401(k) plan.
