The article discusses on how can a small, rural parish incorporate chant into its regular liturgical praxis. Topics include the growing critical mass of singing congregants which encourages the shyer member to join better than any verbal exhortation and discusses that Gregorian chant owns many different kinds of composition of various levels of difficulty. It also offers information on how plainchants that lie within the competence of the average parish make investment of spiritual resources.
