- Abstract
The article discusses the study which explores the possibility of using jurors as a means of insuring informed public opinion and as a means of better informing the public about crime and sentencing issues. The study shows that surveying jurors is a promising method of assuring informed public opinion about sentencing issues and about the case that they have heard. It likewise informs that surveying jurors can evoke useful and interesting useful information, because informed responses can be obtained from them, such as issues on public views of appropriate penalty level. It suggests that this method could be a useful addition to the methodologies and could possibly be improved if funding for the jurors' participation was provided.
