- Abstract
The article discusses the aspects of dietary supplement, which include mineral, vitamin, and metabolites. According to the 2007 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), 17.7% of adults had taken a nonvitamin, nonmineral product in 2011. Moreover, it notes that the National Social Life, Health and Aging Project (NSHAP) showed that 52% took at least one dietary supplement with a prescription medication. INSET: KEY POINTS.
