Title
E.ON proposes UK's first SC coal-fired units.
Abstract
The article discusses the plans of E. ON UK to build two 800 megawatts supercritical units in its Kingsnorth coal-fired power station in Kent, England. The supercritical coal-fired units will reduce carbon emissions by almost two million tonnes annually as compared to the station's existing units. Considerations are also being made to make the units capable of burning biomass with coal.
