- Abstract
The article focuses on the research conducted by the non-profit organizations Canadian Blood Services (CBS) and Hema-Quebec (HQ) which shows that the risk of HIV transmission from blood donation by men who have sex with men. It reports that the research will bring a change in the decision of the governmental department health Canada, which banned the blood donation of men who have sex with men, allowing them to donate blood if they have not had sex in the last five years.
