- Authors
Fraser, Nancy
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis in the difference between recognition from redistribution based on the study of the book, "Justice and the Politics of Difference," by Iris Young. It is suggested that recognition can be found in a world where worsened material inequality is present. Material inequality can be felt in situations that include, income and property ownership, access to paid labor, education and health, and exposure to environmental toxicity. Details related to redistribution or individuals and groups on higher incomes or wealth distributing to those on lower incomes or wealth is also discussed.
