- Abstract
The article presents a conversation between professor Kerry Freedman of Northern Illinois University and graduate student David V. Gill of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio with regards to Gill's dissertation. The focus of the talk is the development of David's research "Student Learning Through Situated Use of Three-Dimensional (3-D) Modeling and Animation in a High School Art Class." The research seeks to investigate the use of computer technology in art education. David shares that he planned to use the Atmosphere application from Adobe, however Adobe pulled out the product due to less of gain. Professor Freedman cites that the problem about the research is its methodology that would determine traditional art concepts in contemporary art education.
