- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an eight-year-old indigenous male who suffered from acute rheumatic fever (ARF) after clinical manifestation of complete heart block. It relates that the patient undergone aspirin and prednisone treatment to relieve arthritis and was placed on telemetry to monitor the progress of his heart block. It notes that complete recovery was observed after several days of treatment.
