Abstract
A review of research published in a 2015 issue of "Proceedings of the Royal Society: Series B" is presented concerning the evolution of the devil facial tumour disease affecting populations of the Tasmanian devil with a tetraploid tumor lineage replaced by a diploid type around 2011-2012, resulting in increased disease prevalence in adults.
