- Authors
Cressey, Daniel
- Abstract
An interview with artist Rob Kesseler is presented. Kesseler cites that he studied ceramics and made works with reference to natural history. He notes that he explored plants as inspiration for fine arts as he did some projects with micromorphology specialist Wolfgang Stuppy to work on seeds and fruit. He adds that the historical pictures of plants by Albrecht Dürer and Leonardo da Vinci have informed the creation of botanical illustration with the use of microscopes and photography.
