- Abstract
The article informs about epidemiology of Monkeypox (mpox) is a zoonotic disease caused by Monkeypox virus (MPXV) from 2018 to 2021. Topics include countries reporting cases related to population migration or travel of infected persons in combination of environmental and ecological changes; and improvements in disease detection and diagnosis, and genetic changes in the virus using data from national surveillance programs, World Health Organization (WHO).
