12 individuals of Botrychium matricariifolium (Retz.) A. Braun was found in the Matra Mts on 12. 06. 2020, on the edges of a mountain meadow. There are no historical or current records for this species from this area. The species formerly was listed as extinct species in Hungary. Recently, there are only two observations in the country; a single individual was found in the Mecsek Mts in 2008 (disappeared in the next year), and a seemingly stable population was found in the Kőszeg Mts in 2016.
