- Abstract
The article informs on a research that analyzes the concentration of carisoprodol, muscle relaxant, in peripheral blood samples. It is mentioned that samples of central blood and liver concentrates were examined for the concentration of carisoprodol and metabolite meprobamate. The specimens were tested using gas chromatography and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, for alcohol and simple volatiles. Also, both carisoprodol and meprobamate are unable to show postmortem redistribution.
