- Abstract
The article explores the concept of an African American founder of the U.S. with regard to the patriotism demonstrated by African American revolutionary soldiers during the American Revolution. Topics discussed include the commitment of these soldiers to achieving universal emancipation for African American slaves, the economic policy concerning these soldiers that have been revised by then U.S. President George Washington, and the slave rebellion associated with the American Revolution.
