Yoyetta humphreyae sp. n. is described from central eastern New South Wales where it is found throughout much of Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, immediately inland of the Blue Mountains to Clandulla, and coastal districts north of Sydney north to Taree. The song is analysed and is unusual in that it is perhaps the most structurally diverse of any species in the genus.
