- Abstract
The article reports the appointment by the State Co-coordinating Committee on Higher Education of a joint University of Wisconsin-state college work group to study the needs of Wisconsin teachers for graduate study. With the purpose to augment preparation of experienced elementary- and secondary-school teachers, the program provides a number of new course offerings to provide teachers with a better command over the subject matter they teach. The programs sets up broad areas of specialization including science, mathematics, history, and literature.
