The article critiques the political and social aspects of the superhero motion picture "The Dark Knight Rises" directed by Christopher Nolan, and it mentions the reasons why the author believes that "The Dark Knight Rises" film featuring the Batman superhero character is not a conservative allegory. The rhetoric of the Occupy Wall Street social movement is examined, along with Nolan's ideology and the portrayal of the villainous character Bane in the film.
