- Abstract
The article discusses research on the association of tea, coffee and sweetened beverage intake with the risk of colon cancer. Data for the pooled analysis include those from 13 other cohort studies as well as dietary questionnaires. Results indicated that there is no risk of colon cancer among coffee drinkers but there is a moderate increase in the risk for tea drinkers. Also noted is the zero results for colorectal cancer among the sweetened beverage drinkers.
