- Abstract
In the paper, we are critically observing procedural, expert and methodological justification of the term electricity, we are initiating critical reviewing of terminology, which helps building up physics course books and connects them to other significant terms and programmed units. Electrical field, electricity, work, energy, and power are some of the terms and they offer better solutions for larger term compatibility. Inappropriate defining the term electricity and inadequate terminology, which builds this term in the eight-grade course book (and in teaching praxis), are the source of many students' difficulties and deception. The paper has the aim to encourage both authors of course books and teachers of Physics to improve definition of the term electricity and to omit or at least lessen terminological obstacles which the students meets while attempting to adopt this term into the existing vocabulary of physical terms.
