- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 51-year-old woman referred to the hospital due to uncontrolled hypertension. Topics include determined that shunt is observed between left renal vein and splenic vein and a splenic varix related to a renosplenic shunt; and considered that the cause of the shunt appeared due to increased blood pressure in the left renal vein.
