The article discusses a study investigating the correlation between covering patient during radiation therapy and increasing patients' surface dose. The result showed a direct correlation between increasing the thickness of patient coverings and patient skin surface dose. Base on the result, it is suggested to consider the patient coverings during therapy in connection with possible skin toxicity.
