- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined the attitudes of teachers towards the inclusion of children with a learning disability in mainstream education in Scotland. The study included teaching staff from 14 schools, who have 0-31 years of experience of working with learning disabled children. Study authors concluded that teachers' attitudes towards inclusion are positive. The implications of the study findings for mainstream education are also discussed.
