The article examines the nature, extent, and consequences of bullying and cyberbullying among K-12 public school students which is influenced by their access and misuses of technology in the U.S. The author reviews the generation of bullying lawsuits alleging school district liability and their treatment by courts. She analyzes new standards applied by some American courts to assess school district liability for the failure to deal with cyberbullying, bullying, and sexting in school.
