- Abstract
This paper focuses on the issue of the necessary changes in the priorities of the Human Resources Management (HRM). Therefore, the resignation from the traditional approach to the HRM is postulated in favour of one which is comprehensive, strategic, emphasizing itself the goal of attracting and retaining the most valuable employees to the organization. The penetration of the concept of marketing to the HRM is also shown, which is associated with the ascertainment that employee satisfaction contributes significantly to creating customer satisfaction. The aim of the empirical study is to present the concept of research on the factors characterizing the quality of the working environment, such as HRM climate, interorganisational trust, job satisfaction, job involvement, organizational commitment. Using the analysis of variance Kruskal-Wallis it was possible to present the relationships between various factors and variables specifications. The study was conducted on a group of 501 randomly selected employees of Polish organizations.
