- Abstract
The article highlight the importance of considering learners as whole persons with a historical past, a current situation, and future aspirations. It emphasizes the use of narrative as a way to address learners beliefs, values, and experiences in the information profession. It also introduces the concepts of Ricoeur's hermeneutic phenomenology of narrative and Bruce's phenomenography of informed learning as perspectives of meaning making.
