- Abstract
In the article "Enhancement of Nitrate-to-Ammonia on Amorphous CeOx-Modified Cu via Tuning of Active Hydrogen Supply," the authors discuss their research on the electrochemical reduction of nitrate to ammonia. They developed an amorphous structure of CeOx on which Cu nanoparticles were loaded as the electrocatalyst for ammonia synthesis. The amorphous structure promotes the decomposition of interfacial water, regulates the supply of active hydrogen, and facilitates the production of ammonia. This research provides insights into the development of efficient and sustainable methods for ammonia synthesis.
