- Abstract
The article discusses the transformation of business innovation from a traditional research and development function focusing on products and services to a process involving cost reduction and improved customer experiences, improved internal processes and involvement of everybody within the company. It cites the factors for a successful organizational innovation namely collaboration among companies, outside consultations and an organizational purpose. It notes that innovation now centers more on human concerns and focuses on what consumer wants.
