Title
The Renewable Fuels Reinvestment Act (H. R. 4940).
Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Renewable Fuels Reinvestment Act (H.R. 4940), which was introduced by U.S. House Representatives Earl Pomeroy and John Shimkus on March 25, 2010. The bill would extend the Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit (VEETC), the corresponding secondary tariff on ethanol, and the Small Producers Tax Credit. Opponents of the bill reportedly believe promoting ethanol will discourage development of other renewable energies.
