- Title
Staging corneal neovascularization to guide treatment.
- Authors
Romano, Vito
- Abstract
To describe the diagnostic technique to assess corneal neovascular (CoNV) complexes and identify feeder vessels in ocular surface pathologies. To illustrate the role of corneal angiography in clinical assessment and surgical treatment of patients with complex corneal neovascularization. To compare corneal angiography with non‐invasive diagnostic tests such as OCT angiography and slit lamp camera. A case series of patients with CoNV is presented whose management was guided by indocyanine green (ICG) and fluorescein corneal angiography. Corneal angiography is a useful diagnostic tool to guide medical and surgical management of CoNV by enabling the localization of vessel depth and topography.
