This article presents a literary criticism for the novel "Fe en disfraz" by Mayra Santos-Febres. The author comments on the influence of Santos-Febres' ethnic identity as a Black Puerto Rican woman on her works and examines the subject of memory and faith explored in the novel. The representation of the history of Black people in Puerto Rico is also examined.
