- Abstract
The article discusses the benefits and difficulties of focusing on unknown human author in the Bible. It examines the Book of Zephaniah, particularly Chapter 1, Verses 2-3, to illustrate the gains and losses. It explores some of the benefits including reckoning with social and historical circumstances, pertinence of divine authorship, and human authorial intention.
