Topics discussed include factors to equitable mootness including lack of a stay pending appeal, transfer of assets or issuance of securities and effect on third-party reliance and expectations, its impact on jurisprudence and bankruptcy system, perversion of appellate procedure, unfair burden on the right of appeal, and proposed reforms regarding stay, types of judicial review and procedure.
