- Abstract
The article presents a study which used a quantitative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method to determine the major active phthalides from Ligusticum porteri roots. A gradient elution was used to achieve separation on a Hibar RT LiChrospher® 100 C18 column. Quantitative analysis illustrated that the content of the two phthalides varied among the samples.
