- Abstract
An interview with Kristin Lynch, Pacific region director of the organization Food and Water Watch, Josh Mogerman, deputy director at the organization Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and Sean Sweeney, director of the Cornell Global Labor Institute is presented. They focus on the impact of the Hydraulic Fracturing Regulatory Act of Illinois on the oil and gas industries. They discuss the approach of environmental activists and the impacts of labors in the movement against fracking.
