The article offers information on the judicial decision of the First Department of the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court in the case of People v. Hall, in which the Court examines the nature of the autopsy report and its admissibility as the testimonial evidence in the jury's trial of criminal conviction. It informs that defendant Ralph Hall alleged about violation of his Sixth Amendment confrontation rights by admitting an autopsy report conducted by a nontestifying witness.
