- Abstract
The article reviews relevant case law that concerns who constitutes a public figure in the U.S. It provides a detailed discusses of the Rosenbloom v. Metromedia case which is superior framework to approach defamation claims in the digital age. It explains the opinion of Justice William J. Brennan in Rosenbloom which is suited to address public figurehood in a world of instant and pervasive communication.
