- Title
Agreement on initial emergency treatment.
- Abstract
The article reports on the new agreement signed by the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Council members with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) in December 2013 replacing the arrangement covered in the Memorandum of Understanding for initial emergency treatment (IET) of sick and injured stray animals. The RSPCA will no longer question the treatment choice for sick and injured animals and will decrease the rate of their contribution under the new agreement.
