- Abstract
The article presents the findings of a study conducted on examining the vaginal and uterine bacterial flora in clinically healthy bitches during different stages of the reproductive cycle. The aim of the study is to investigate the gross and histologic lesions of the uterus. It discusses the methodology of the study. It concludes that bacterial cultures can be separated from the vagina of healthy bitches during anoestrus and pro-oestrus.
