Information about the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA) congress held in Southport, England from November 24-26, 2011 is presented. Topics include the opportunity for veterinary industry to help set the direction of surveillance, control methods that could be used for badgers and position on vaccines for badgers and cattle. The conference featured several notable people including Jane Gibbens, Robbie McDonald and David King.
