- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the issues over peremptory strikes and the right of criminal defendants to a fair trial by analyzing the case Flowers v. Mississippi. Also cited is the move by the Mississippi Supreme Court and U.S. Supreme Court to vacate the conviction and death sentence meted against African-American Curtis Flowers for the alleged murder of four Tardy Furniture employees in 1996 due to prosecutorial misconduct.
