- Abstract
The article discusses fragments of an enameled glass beaker from the medieval Golden Horde period discovered in eastern Crimea, Ukraine. Topics include description of the vessel's dimensions and condition, its decoration with a plant design and European heraldry, the dating of the beaker to the late 13th or early 14th century with an origin in Venice, Italy, and the cultural implications of its production. Photographs of the fragments and the reconstruction of the beaker and its decorative motifs are presented.
