- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old Hispanic woman who was referred for evaluation of renal failure and a five-year history of burning pain in the lower leg with worsening skin changes. It says that peripheral blood smear and skin biopsy were conducted showing ryoglobulinemic deposits and multiple thrombi. It highlights a severe type 1 monoclonal cryoglobulinemia resulting to renal failure as well as end-organ damage.
