- Abstract
The article presents the case report of a 33-year-old man who developed hyperthyroidism due to chorionic gonadotropin-secreting tumors. At presentation the patient had biochemical evidence of hyperthyroidism which, reverted to normal after anti-tumor chemotherapy, but then recurred with tumor relapse. The later development of frank hyperthyroidism in the patient is consistent with the notion that the tumor was causal in the development of hyperthyroidism.
