The article provides information on the Department of Health's End of Life Care Strategy in England. It is stated that such strategy promises to change the experience of dying in the contemporary world. In line with this, the article discusses the challenges in applying such strategy in hospitals, care homes, and in cancer nursing. Key steps to improve the provision of end-of-life care are also discussed.
