- Abstract
The article discusses international arbitration in relation to tobacco packaging and a state's ability to enact "plain packaging" legislation which restricts the branding that is allowed on a cigarette manufacturer's cartons and product packaging as of July 2013. The Philip Morris International cigarette manufacturing firm is addressed, along with the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, a company's intellectual property rights, and investment arbitration tribunals.
