Abstract
The article describes the architectural designs and plans for the city of Croydon, England based on proposals by architectural firm Birds, Portchmouth and Russum. The design improves the role of the existing center car parks as key elements in the renaissance architecture scheme. A diverse range of sporting activities are incorporated into the design of public spaces and facilities.
