Examines the effects of block scheduling on secondary school library media centers across the state of Arkansas. Determination of the mean number of workstations with Internet access for student use in traditionally- scheduled schools and the mean in block-scheduled schools; Tendency of students in block-scheduled schools to spend more time on leisure reading and checking out materials in the library media center than do students in traditional- scheduled schools; Evaluation of time spent by library media staff providing research and technical assistance.
