Abstract
The article reports on the increase in membership with the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) at a nursing home in Albury, New South Wales following the wage rise for registered nurses in the aged care sector. It shares insight from Lannelle Bailey, secretary of her NSWNMA workplace branch in Albury, on the importance of strengthening workers' bargaining power, the success of the enterprise agreement and introduction of mandatory minimum care.
