The article discusses the proper management of amputation wounds that are hard to heal. Other topics include the risk factors for post-operative wounds like diabetes, idiophatic neuropathy, obesity, and chemotherapy, the different categories or classes of surgical wounds, and the possible treatments like deep debridement, prolonged antibiotic therapy, and excision of bone.
